I started this sculpt as a way to process the passing of Akira Toriyama. Dragonball and DBZ were some of my biggest inspirations as a kid who aspired to become an artist. I spent so many countless hours learning to draw Goku and Co, expanding my abilities one attempt at a time. Like so many other 90’s kids, I doubt I’ll ever be able to escape the parallels between Goku’s journey and my own. I’ll be adding to this series every year to commemorate Toriyama’s incredible legacy, so be sure to stay tuned friends!
