Gears of War 5: Opening Title

This project was special, as reunited me with my old friend and CG guru Andrew Romatz once again! My primary responsibilities were first to conceptualize and layout the “Neuron Forest” and cavern shots in 3D. Once the designs and layout were approved in Maya, I moved on to detailing out the shots in Zbrush. I then helped finalize assets in some other shots, tweaking textures, adding further details and some blend shapes to meaty assets. The hardest part of this project was definitely looking at reference of raw meat for days on end...
